Recent changes to our site: 01
October 2004
-
Web site has been restructured. The Main Page has outgrown reasonable limits.
There are now FOUR Main Pages. You can easily select any page by clicking on the appropriate
train car. Try it. Click the RR crossing for a pop-up table of contents.
-
Attention DCC fans! Beginning with the latest issue of *HOT* off the wire
Trolley Newsletter (Summer 2004), a DCC section has been added. This will be a permanent section
to address DCC topics in general, and the status of implementation on the SDMRRC layouts. In future
issues, there will be mini-clinics on decoder types and installation tips. If you are new to DCC,
or have no idea what it is all about, see the
NMRA DCC page for a basic introduction. Note: some links on
the DCC page do not yet work.
-
The Member Roster as of 01 October 2004 is now posted in the "Members Only"
section. Club members: please check this roster to make sure your information is correct,
including the composite e-mail list on the last couple of pages. The roster has a new format,
providing space for a member photo (mug shot). Send any corrections or updates to
club-admin@sdmrrc.org or in person on Friday nights. We will take your picture, or you may
provide a "nice" photo of yourself (vertical 200x320 pixels or better) via e-mail or floppy.
-
New electronic rail passes continue to be sent and received. View them on the e-pass pages.
-
This web site is advertisement-free (other than promotion of our club and model railroading).
We receive no money from commercial sponsors for the production and maintenance of this site.
